Hey, writing always starts at a young age…mine was lots of poetry of the mournful description. In the 1980’s I started a small graphic art and copy-writing business, writing sales letters and small ads for local businesses. From there I progressed to corporate writing of reports and training sessions, (not as much fun) and now the web environment captures my attention. Why? It provides multiple avenues for the writer to practice his/her craft. Not only that, these avenues become a source of income. Like most writers, I have a fiction book to finish and I need to make a living. Making enough money from writing on a regular basis, is the dream of most writers. I will show you how to do this and how to be successful in negotiating this not-so-easy environment.
And the boring stuff: I’m a baby-boomer, aquarian, have a BA in communications (web writing, creative & corporate writing), design, sales & marketing. Love creative writing- am in the middle of writing a science fiction- fantasy novel for young adults. Am a member of Queensland Writers Centre Australia, which by the way, is just a great organisation.
